Historique
Maison construite en 1900, caractéristique de l'Art Nouveau et de l'Ecole de Nancy, essentiellement par son jardin d'hiver, par sa décoration polychrome et par l'emploi de matériaux variés. La façade sud, en alternance de briques rouges et blanches, est ornée d'une bande de céramique polychrome qui représente du houx entourant une fleur. Le sol du jardin d'hiver et de l'entrée s'orne de carreaux en ciment décorés d'un motif floral. Le vitrail du repos de l'escalier représente des formes géométriques. Un cache-radiateur en fer forgé représente une sphère à rayonnement à spirales. Au premier étage, des peintures murales inspirées du répertoire végétal représentent des liserons et des feuilles de vigne dans le style Art Nouveau. Les verrières du jardin d'hiver sont exécutées par le maître-verrier Antoine Bertin.

History
House built in 1900, characteristic of Art Nouveau and the School of Nancy, essentially through its winter garden, through its polychrome decoration and through the use of varied materials. The south façade, in alternation of red and white bricks, is decorated with a band of polychrome ceramic which represents holly surrounding a flower. The floor of the winter garden and entrance is decorated with cement tiles decorated with a floral motif. The stained glass of the landing of the staircase represents geometric forms. A radiator cover in wrought iron represents a sphere with spiral radiation. On the first floor, murals inspired by the vegetable repertoire represent bindweeds and vine leaves in the Art Nouveau style. The glass panels of the winter garden are executed by the master glazier Antoine Bertin.
