Historique
La plus ancienne mention du site date de 1362. Maison rurale de nobles felletinois du début du 17e siècle, remaniée aux 19e et 20e siècles (avant-corps de 1900). On y retrouve un plan commun à de nombreux bâtiments de la région : corps de logis barlong avec tours et tourelles en encorbellement aux angles, et escalier droit central dans oeuvre. Quelques éléments défensifs (mâchicoulis et meurtrières à mousqueterie) servaient contre les attaques de petits groupes armés et les troubles dus aux guerres de religion qui persistèrent en Bas Limousin jusque vers 1640. L'intérieur est divisé en deux pièces principales, de chaque côté d'un escalier tournant à deux volées droites avec repos et palier. Il ne subsiste aucun élément de décor intérieur d'origine.

History
The oldest mention of the site dates from 1362. Rural house of Felletins nobles of the early 17th century, altered in the 19th and 20th centuries (forward projection of 1900). There is found a plan common to many buildings in the region: oblong main dwelling with towers and turrets in corbel projection at the angles, and central straight staircase within the structure. A few defensive elements (machicolations and gun loopholes) served against attacks by small armed groups and the troubles due to the wars of religion which persisted in Bas Limousin until around 1640. The interior is divided into two main rooms, on each side of a turning staircase with two straight flights with landing and level. No element of original interior decoration remains.
