History
The construction of this tower is projected in the 1573 document, which sets out the programme for the final phase of construction of the coastal towers. Maintenance and garrison costs fell to the Camera, then were privatized from the end of the century onwards. The tower was no longer guarded at the beginning of the 18th century. It is a circular tower which rises over three traditional levels: blind base, storey pierced by a door, and terrace. The machicolations of the crown are replaced by bretèches. Inside, the chamber on the first storey is covered with a cupola. A well descends into the cistern. On the terrace, the stair turret has disappeared.
