Evolution d'un château fortifié en château de plaisance. La construction du château remonte à la seconde moitié du 16e siècle, en bordure de la Meuse. Restauration et aménagements à la fin du 18e siècle : ajout de la partie nord, communs en L, entrée avec pigeonnier-porche, jardin, cage d'escalier ouest, ... Nouveaux travaux dans la seconde moitié du 19e siècle (jardin d'hiver, galerie de passage, bassin à la place d'une aile de communs).

Evolution of a fortified château into a pleasure château. The construction of the château dates to the second half of the 16th century, on the banks of the Meuse. Restoration and improvements in the late 18th century: addition of the north part, outbuildings in L-shape, entrance with dovecote porch tower, garden, west staircase cage, ... New works in the second half of the 19th century (winter garden, passage gallery, basin in place of an outbuilding wing).
