L'église de Chaussoy-Epagny est très représentative des édifices cultuels du sud du département de la Somme et du nord du département de l'Oise. Du monument médiéval subsiste un choeur du 13e siècle à chevet plat avec baies en tiers point et corniche à modillons figurés. Comme la plupart des édifices religieux de cette région, l'église de Chaussoy-Epagny a fait l'objet d'une importante campagne de travaux au cours du 16e siècle : au cours de cette période ont été reconstruits la nef (en partie) et le clocher-porche, daté 1559 et implanté en façade occidentale. History
The church of Chaussoy-Epagny is very representative of religious buildings of the south of the Somme department and the north of the Oise department. Of the medieval monument there remains a 13th-century choir with a flat chevet with pointed-arch openings and cornice with figured corbels. Like most religious buildings in this region, the church of Chaussoy-Epagny was the subject of major works during the 16th century: during this period the nave (in part) and the porch tower were rebuilt, dated 1559 and implanted on the western façade. The church also preserves from this period remarkable moveable objects classified as Historic Monuments. The building enjoys a remarkable natural setting: the church, isolated in open country equidistant from the three hamlets comprising the parish, overlooks the green furrow of the Val de Noye. Furthermore, the church is surrounded by its former cemetery where interesting funerary monuments are still visible.
