Ayant quitté l'Alsace après l'annexion de 1871, Fruhinsholz fonde à Nancy les "Tonnelleries mécaniques du Faubourg Saint-Georges". La maison utiliserait certains éléments, notamment des pans de bois, provenant de sa maison alsacienne. Le lieu devient un foyer de patriotisme français avant la Première Guerre."

History
House built in 1912 for Adolphe Fruhinsholz (1845-1938), an industrialist from Schiltigheim (67). Having left Alsace after the annexation of 1871, Fruhinsholz founded in Nancy the "Mechanical Cooperage of Faubourg Saint-Georges". The house would use certain elements, notably timber framing, coming from his Alsatian house. The place became a centre of French patriotism before the First World War.
