History
The oldest part of the building dates from the 12th century. The church was modified in the 17th century (wooden decoration dated 1641) and its windows enlarged in the 20th century to install new stained glass. The painted decoration was executed by the Versailles painter Pierre-Léon Dusouchet and the priest André Pascal in the years 1925. These paintings are evidence of a religious artistic movement that emerged between the two wars with the creation in 1919 of the Ateliers d'Art Sacré by Maurice Denis and Georges Desvallières.
