Monument à la mémoire de Tadeusz Kosciuszko (1746-1817) , héros de la guerre d'indépendance américaine et général en chef de l'armée polonaise au cours de la guerre contre les Russes en 1794. Le monument est construit en 1834 à l'initiative de François Zeltner, fils de Pierre Zeltner, ministre plénipotentiaire de Suisse chez qui Kosciuszko passa ses derniers jours en France. History
Monument to the memory of Tadeusz Kosciuszko (1746-1817), hero of the American war of independence and commander-in-chief of the Polish army during the war against the Russians in 1794. The monument was built in 1834 on the initiative of François Zeltner, son of Pierre Zeltner, plenipotentiary minister of Switzerland with whom Kosciuszko spent his last days in France. In 1924, a medallion due to sculptor Leplat was added to the monument. The vaulted crypt of the 19th-century monument is today buried beneath a tumulus.
