Située en forêt de Brotonne, sur une terre donnée à l'abbaye de Fécamp en 1006, la maladrerie a été fondée au 12e siècle. Il en subsiste des vestiges architecturaux : de la chapelle dédiée à Saint Thomas Becket subsistent l'élévation du mur pignon, la base des murs du choeur et de la nef . Subsistent également des vestiges archéologiques d'un bâtiment à l'intérieur de l'enclos, ainsi qu'une mare pavée. Des chantiers de jeunes bénévoles et des chantiers de fouilles ont permis une restauration et une mise en valeur de cet intéressant témoignage d'une maladrerie médiévale, lieu de pèlerinage encore vivant.

History
Located in the forest of Brotonne, on land given to the abbey of Fécamp in 1006, the leper hospital was founded in the 12th century. There remain some architectural vestiges: of the chapel dedicated to Saint Thomas Becket there remain the elevation of the gable wall, the base of the walls of the choir and nave. There also remain archaeological vestiges of a building inside the enclosure, as well as a paved pond. Volunteer work camps and excavation campaigns have allowed restoration and enhancement of this interesting evidence of a medieval leper hospital, still a living place of pilgrimage.
