Historique
Château construit au 16e siècle sur le plan d'un château fortifié, formé à l'origine de quatre ailes dont deux subsistent, ponctuées par quatre tours. Des éléments du châtelet d'entrée sont encore décelables sur la façade postérieure de l'aile ouest qui fut surélevée par la suite. Au 18e siècle, l'aile nord-ouest faisant face à l'allée d'accès fut détruite pour dégager une cour d'honneur. Les ailes furent repercées de manière symétrique et agrémentées de lucarnes en pierre. Dans la première moitié du 19e siècle, le château subit des remaniements dans le goût néo-gothique. L'aile nord-est est supprimée après 1836.

History
Château built in the 16th century on the plan of a fortified château, originally formed of four wings of which two remain, punctuated by four towers. Elements of the entrance gatehouse are still discernible on the rear façade of the west wing which was later heightened. In the 18th century, the north-west wing facing the approach avenue was destroyed to open a courtyard of honour. The wings were reopened symmetrically and embellished with stone dormers. In the first half of the 19th century, the château underwent alterations in the neo-Gothic taste. The north-east wing is removed after 1836.
