Cette porte est le seul bâtiment qui subsiste du prieuré, fondé au milieu du 11e siècle, dépendance de l'abbaye de la Trinité à Vendôme et encore très complet dans les années 1880. History
This gate is the only building which remains of the priory, founded in the mid-11th century, a dependency of the abbey of La Trinité at Vendôme and still very complete in the 1880s. The monks served an oratory whose construction was authorised in 1192. The gatehouse comprises two passages, pedestrian and carriage, surmounted by an upper hall; the roof structure was modified in the 19th century. The porch probably dates from around 1200.
