Les trois grosses tours remontent au Moyen-Age. Le château se transforme à la Renaissance : des appartements remplacent les chemins de ronde entre les tours. L'aspect général de l'édifice se maintient jusqu'en 1740, date de nombreux aménagements de confort. De 1880 à la première gerre mondiale, des travaux confèrent au château sont aspect actuel, dans un goût marqué pour les châteaux de Louis II de Bavière, avec création de tourelles, d'une galerie à colombage et remaniement intérieur.

History
The three large towers date back to the Middle Ages. The château transforms at the Renaissance: apartments replace the galleries between the towers. The general appearance of the building is maintained until 1740, the date of numerous comfort improvements. From 1880 to the First World War, works give the château its present appearance, in a taste marked for the châteaux of Ludwig II of Bavaria, with creation of turrets, a half-timbered gallery and interior remodelling.
