Historique
L'édifice actuel a succédé à une église plus ancienne. Sa construction a été entreprise de 1725 à 1729, dans le cadre du mouvement de reconstruction religieuse issu de la Réforme catholique. Le clocher, coiffé d'un lanternon et d'un bulbe, est daté de 1698. L'église, construite en matériaux du pays, est de plan cruciforme avec un transept saillant, un chevet droit, une nef de deux travées inégales, sans bas-côtés, un choeur de deux travées, le tout couvert de voûtes d'arêtes et d'une coupole octogonale sur la croisée du transept. Le porche s'ouvre au-dessous d'un arc en plein cintre, flanqué de colonnes coiffées de chapiteaux. Une serlienne le surmonte. Le sommet de la façade est traversé par un entablement en stuc qui développe une frise décorée. A l'intérieur, l'église est décorée de peintures réalisées vers 1751 puis 1856.

History
The present building succeeded an earlier church. Its construction was undertaken from 1725 to 1729, within the framework of the movement for religious reconstruction issuing from the Catholic Reformation. The bell tower, topped with a lantern and a bulb, is dated 1698. The church, constructed in local materials, is of cruciform plan with a projecting transept, a straight chevet, a nave of two unequal bays, without aisles, a choir of two bays, all covered with groined vaults and an octagonal dome over the crossing of the transept. The porch opens beneath a round arch, flanked by columns topped with capitals. A Serliana surmounts it. The top of the façade is crossed by a stucco entablature which develops a decorated frieze. Inside, the church is decorated with paintings executed around 1751 and then 1856.
