La communauté de Cordon, rattachée à la collégiale de Sallanches, a utilisé la chapelle Notre-Dame du château comme église paroissiale jusqu'au 18e siècle. History
The community of Cordon, attached to the collegiate church of Sallanches, used the chapel Notre-Dame of the castle as a parish church until the 18th century. In 1781, the community obtains authorization to build a church. Architect Giovanni Pietro Mathole draws inspiration from the style of the church of Saint-Nicolas La Chapelle.
