History
The abbey, founded in 1139, belonged to the regular canons of Saint Augustine, then to the reformed Cistercians from 1606 to 1761, the date of its suppression. The buildings, several times burned, are rebuilt in the 15th, 17th and 18th centuries. The cloister is adorned with wall paintings of the 15th century.
