History
The oldest parts of the castle would date back to the 13th century. An enclosure then surrounded the keep. In the 16th century, the manor is transformed into a medieval fortress (construction of the spiral staircase attached to the keep, arrangement of new rooms with more openings). The square keep is flanked by a staircase tower and a main dwelling. Inside are found a vaulted low room and the 'prétoire' room possessing a French-style ceiling with moulded beams and joists.
