Historique
Une maison forte des 13e et 14e siècles fut agrandie au 15e. La maison forte est encore visible dans le plan, ainsi que dans certaines ouvertures de l'aile ouest. Vers 1606, la demeure est agrandie et prend sa forme actuelle. Le château s'inscrit dans un carré divisé en quatre parties (château avec ses douves, jardin, garenne et communs). History
A fortified house of the 13th and 14th centuries was enlarged in the 15th. The fortified house is still visible in the plan, as well as in certain openings of the west wing. Around 1606, the residence is enlarged and takes its present form. The castle is inscribed within a square divided into four parts (castle with its moats, garden, game park and outbuildings). In 1632, a chapel was installed in the east wing. In 1746, the entrance pavilion is modified (removal of the drawbridge and north moats, installation of a wrought ironwork grille). In 1753, construction of two closed circulation galleries, over the full height of the facades on the courtyard of the south and east wings. Inside, the decorations of the late 18th century are very much in evidence. The staircase is adorned with a decoration of the 17th century, in trompe-l'oeil and grey monochrome. The archaeological traces of older decorations are numerous.
