Le château est un édifice du 18e siècle, ayant conservé du 16e siècle les deux ailes nord et sud. L'un des grands salons a été orné au 18e siècle d'une suite de tapisseries de Beauvais "les Fêtes italiennes" sur cartons de Boucher, vendue au début du 20e siècle (actuellement aux Etats-Unis). Cette tenture était accompagnée d'un mobilier de Delanois actuellement conservé au Louvre. En 1792, le château est pillé, les archives et la bibliothèque brûlées. Le chemin qui conduit au château franchit la rivière sur un beau pont de pierre du 18e siècle à deux arches. Tout près, un bief mène à un moulin à l'abandon, remarquable par sa toiture en carène de navire. Non loin de l'entrée, se dresse un pigeonnier-tour du 18e siècle, couvert d'une coupole en pierre vêtue de petites tuiles, avec un petit lanternon.

History
The château is an 18th-century building, having retained from the 16th century the two north and south wings. One of the great halls was adorned in the 18th century with a series of Beauvais tapestries 'the Italian Festivals' after cartoons by Boucher, sold in the early 20th century (currently in the United States). This tapestry was accompanied by furniture by Delanois currently preserved in the Louvre. In 1792, the château was pillaged, the archives and library burned. The path leading to the château crosses the river on a fine 18th-century stone bridge with two arches. Nearby, a millrace leads to an abandoned mill, remarkable for its ship's keel roof. Not far from the entrance, stands an 18th-century dovecote-tower, covered with a stone dome clad with small tiles, with a small lantern.
