La maison de l’Auditoire est construite à la moitié du XVème siècle. L’Auditoire est la résidence du capitaine-chatelain. Au XVIIème la maison sert également de siège de justice de Cervières après la démolition du château au début du même siècle. La salle d’audience de justice est appelée auditoire d’où le nom actuel de la maison.

History
The Auditoire house is built in the middle of the 15th century. The Auditoire is the residence of the captain-castellan. In the 17th century the house also served as the seat of justice for Cervières after the demolition of the château at the beginning of the same century. The audience hall of justice is called auditoire hence the current name of the house.
