Le château est construit par l’architecte italien Michel Dal Gabbio en 1779 dans un style néo-classique d’après la commande de Jacques-Marie Punctis de la Tour. Les travaux sont achevés en 1786 et sera le dernier construit dans le département de la Loire sous l’Ancien Régime. Le château reste pendant trois générations dans la même famille jusqu’à son rachat en 1934 par la municipalité de Boël sur Lignon.

History
The château is built by Italian architect Michel Dal Gabbio in 1779 in a neo-classical style following the commission of Jacques-Marie Punctis de la Tour.
