History
Castle mentioned from 1345 onwards, described in 1687 as comprising a lower hall, a chapel, a large kitchen, a vaulted cellar, an oven and its dependencies. In 1722, the building is in poor condition, and the construction of a new castle is undertaken from 1740 to 1773. The foundations of the new castle being poor, the latter is destroyed in 1780.
