Historique
Le château de Bouquéron est mentionné pour la première fois en 1100 dans le cartulaire de Saint-Hugues. Au 15e siècle, le trésorier et receveur général du Dauphiné, Claude Coct, modifie et agrandit le château. Au 17e siècle, mise au goût du jour par suppression des meneaux et aménagements intérieurs (boiseries, cheminées, ...). Quelques modifications sont encore effectuées au 18e siècle. Le château est vendu comme bien national pendant la Révolution. Il est transformé en centre hydrothérapique en 1852.

History
The château of Bouquéron is mentioned for the first time in 1100 in the cartulary of Saint-Hugues. In the 15th century, the treasurer and general receiver of the Dauphiné, Claude Coct, modifies and enlarges the château. In the 17th century, brought up to date by the removal of mullions and interior arrangements (panelling, fireplaces, ...). A few modifications are still made in the 18th century. The château is sold as national property during the Revolution. It is transformed into a hydrotherapeutic centre in 1852.
