Historique
Edifié entre 892 et 912, le château subit, à la fin du 14ème siècle, des dépradations. Au cours de la première moitié du 16ème siècle, la demeure est rebâtie selon un plan en U sur le style de la Renaissance italienne avec terrasses et jardins. De cette reconstruction, il apparaît que peu, voire aucun élément médiéval n'a été préservé. En 1796, le château est incendié et se présente, dès lors, à l'état de ruines.

History
Built between 892 and 912, the château underwent damage at the end of the 14th century. During the first half of the 16th century, the dwelling was rebuilt according to a U-shaped plan in the style of Italian Renaissance with terraces and gardens. From this reconstruction, it appears that little, if any, medieval element was preserved. In 1796, the château was burned and has presented itself as ruins ever since.
