A new temple is built after 1614 and will be razed at the Revocation. The old temple returned to the Catholics becomes the Church of Saint-Apollinaire. However the Protestant community remains important, stubborn and active even in clandestinity. After the Revolution, the organic laws of the Concordat allow the Protestants to recover their temple at Pontaix.
