Historique
Au cours du 12e siècle des terres furent accordées à l'abbaye de Nantua. L'église se compose d'une nef de trois travées voûtée d'ogives, d'une travée de choeur et d'une abside pentagonale. Trois chapelles latérales sont ajointes côté nord, dont l'une possède une voûte en berceau brisé décorée au 19e siècle. Les chapelles sud ont été édifiées à partir de 1845. Les arcs triomphaux, les murs du choeur et l'abside ont été décorés par le peintre lyonnais Jean Scohy. Les boiseries du choeur seraient du 17e siècle. Un décor d'entrelacs du 14e ou du 15e siècle orne les impostes des piles du premier arc. Deux fonds baptismaux dateraient de l'origine de l'église. History
During the 12th century lands were granted to the abbey of Nantua. The church consists of a nave of three bays vaulted with ribs, a bay of choir and a pentagonal apse. Three lateral chapels are adjoined on the north side, one of which has a broken barrel vault decorated in the 19th century. The south chapels were built from 1845 onwards. The triumphal arches, the walls of the choir and the apse were decorated by the Lyonnaise painter Jean Scohy. The woodwork of the choir would be from the 17th century. A decoration of interlaces from the 14th or 15th century adorns the imposts of the piers of the first arch. Two baptismal fonts would date from the origin of the church. A porch was built on the west façade before 1887. A sacristy was added in 1921.
