Historique
Maison utilisée, à partir d'avril 1943, pour accueillir des enfants juifs, sous le nom "Colonie d'enfants réfugiés de l'Hérault", dirigée par Sabine Zlatin, infirmière à la Croix-Rouge française, et son mari Miron Zlatin, ingénieur-agronome. Le 6 avril 1944, sur ordre de Klaus Barbie, la Gestapo y fait irruption. 42 enfants et 5 de leurs maîtres ont été exterminés dans les chambres à gaz d'Auschwitz. Deux adolescents et le directeur de la maison ont été fusillés en Estonie. Il y eut une unique survivante. La maison est devenue musée-mémorial en 1994.
