History
The main rectangular building of brick with a sandstone plinth is dated 1659 by anchor stone. It is extended by two symmetrical wings of single storey in the early 19th century. Hip roof covered with slate, fine roof structure perhaps original, main façade with lozenge-pattern ashlar and over-fired bricks, isolated dovecote at the centre of the courtyard, in slate and brick with white limewash render.
