Romanesque nave dating from the mid-12th century in its lower parts. The façade, transept, choir and crypt were built between 1180 and 1220. The church underwent the vicissitudes of a series of invasions (1411, 1557 and 1594). In 1641, the reform of the Genovefans led to the establishment of the crossing tower in 1672.
