History
The Passe-Avant and Passe-Arrière mills are attested since the Middle Ages when they were both grain mills. The Passe-Arrière mill has two water wheels. Very little remains of its mechanisms. It is extended by the former workshops on the same side of the river. This ensemble, very characteristic of the Saint-Leu quarter, does not appear to predate the end of the 18th or the beginning of the 19th century.
