L'église de Saint-Pierre est entièrement construite en brique à l'exception du portail roman de la façade ouest, provenant d'un réemploi ; la nef épaulée de collatéraux, dont elle est séparée par des arcades à piles octogonales, est précédée d'un clocher-porche à quatre étages, qui présente des traces de meurtrières. L'église se compose également d'un petit transept, orné de losanges de briques vitrifiées, et un choeur désaxé par rapport à la nef. Des meurtrières percées à hauteur d'homme sont également visibles sur les murs de la nef et du choeur. D'une grande homogénéité historique et stylistique, cet édifice est très représentatif des églises rebâties au 16e siècle. History
The church of Saint-Pierre is built entirely in brick with the exception of the Romanesque portal of the western façade, which comes from reuse; the nave, supported by side aisles from which it is separated by arcades with octagonal piers, is preceded by a porch tower with four storeys, which shows traces of loopholes. The church also comprises a small transept, decorated with vitrified brick lozenges, and a choir offset in relation to the nave. Loopholes pierced at man's height are also visible on the walls of the nave and choir. Of great historical and stylistic homogeneity, this edifice is very representative of churches rebuilt in the 16th century in the Vervins region and offers certain similarities with the church of that latter town. Its porch tower was mainly designed in relation to its function as a refuge; conversely, the fortification elements remain particularly discreet there.
