L'église présente un choeur d'époque médiévale (peut-être antérieur au 14e siècle) précédé d'une nef en briques édifiée au 16e siècle. De dimensions modestes (choeur de deux travées, nef de trois travées) , l'édifice concentre tous les éléments de fortification sur sa façade ouest, qui est accostée au sud d'une tour cylindrique en brique, coiffée de poivrière et percée de meurtrières. Le clocher en charpente surmonte la façade occidentale. Il subsiste également des traces de meurtrières aujourd'hui bouchées sur les murs de la nef. History
The church presents a choir of medieval period (perhaps prior to the 14th century) preceded by a nave in brick built in the 16th century. Of modest dimensions (choir of two bays, nave of three bays), the edifice concentrates all the fortification elements on its western façade, which is accompanied to the south by a cylindrical brick tower, topped with a pepper-pot roof and pierced with loopholes. The roof structure bell tower surmounts the western façade. There also remain traces of loopholes today blocked on the walls of the nave. Despite the modesty of its proportions, this edifice is representative, by the simplicity and clarity of its execution, of the arrangement of churches, even the most humble, of this region, during the 16th century, with here a strong concentration of defensive elements in a single point.
