Historique
Porte double composée d'un châtelet avec herse, assommoir et vantaux (détruits) , et d'un ouvrage avancé formant barbacane, également détruit. La porte est attestée dès le 10e siècle, et reconstruite sans doute au 13e. En 1741, une porte fut édifiée au devant et sculptée par Charles Hottin, avec des piliers surmontés de lions et d'armes de France. Cette porte a été détruite en 1858.

History
Double gate composed of a barbican with portcullis, assommer and leaves (destroyed), and an advanced work forming a barbican, also destroyed. The gate is attested from the 10th century, and rebuilt no doubt in the 13th. In 1741, a gate was built in front and sculpted by Charles Hottin, with pillars surmounted by lions and arms of France. This gate was destroyed in 1858.
