L'ancienne brosserie Autin constitue un bel exemple de l'évolution historique et technologique des moulins de la vallée du Thérain, depuis le moulin à blé seigneurial, dépendant dès le 16e siècle de l'abbaye Saint-Lucien de Beauvais, jusqu'à l'usine hydraulique de configuration industrielle : scierie d'os, puis brosserie, implantée sur le site dès 1864. Le moulin a conservé une partie de ses équipements techniques du 19e siècle : roue de type Sagebien, mécanismes de transmission... ainsi qu'une partie des outils de l'ancienne brosserie (machines trou à trou, gabarits, tondeuses à brosses). Un petit musée de la brosserie a été aménagé dans une partie des anciens bâtiments.

History
The former Autin brush factory constitutes a fine example of the historical and technological evolution of the mills of the Thérain valley, from the seigneurial grain mill, dependent from the 16th century on the abbey Saint-Lucien of Beauvais, to the hydraulic industrial-configuration factory: bone sawmill, then brush factory, established on the site from 1864. The mill has preserved part of its 19th century technical equipment: Sagebien-type wheel, transmission mechanisms, etc., as well as part of the tools of the former brush factory (hole-by-hole machines, templates, brush shears). A small brush factory museum has been set up in part of the former buildings.
