Eglise construite au XIIe siècle. A la suite de l'effondrement de son clocher au XVe siècle, elle a été presque totalement reconstruite au XVIe siècle par les seigneurs de Verneuil.
Description
De plan globalement rectangulaire, l'église Saint-Honoré de Verneuil-en-Halatte a une allure massive, contre-balancée par un porche de style flamboyant au nord et son clocher. La nef est constituée d'un vaisseau central de cinq travées, flanqué de deux bas-côtés. Elle est voûtée de croisées d'ogives avec des liernes et n'est éclairée que par les baies des collatéraux. Les bas-côtés sont constituées de sept travées chacun. Le choeur comporte deux travées se termine par un chevet plat ; il est éclairé par trois baies aux remplages flamboyants. La tour clocher, de plan carré, est surmontée d'une flèche octogonale en pierre à crochets très élancée.

Church built in the 12th century. Following the collapse of its bell tower in the 15th century, it was almost totally rebuilt in the 16th century by the lords of Verneuil.
Description
Of generally rectangular plan, the Church of Saint-Honoré of Verneuil-en-Halatte has a massive appearance, counterbalanced by a porch of flamboyant style to the north and its bell tower. The nave consists of a central vessel of five bays, flanked by two aisles. It is vaulted with rib vaults with liernes and is lit only by openings in the side aisles. The aisles consist of seven bays each. The choir comprises two bays and ends in a flat chevet; it is lit by three openings with flamboyant tracery. The bell tower, of square plan, is surmounted by a very slender octagonal stone spire with crockets.
