History
This rural establishment consisted of agricultural lands, orchards and vineyards marked by walls which are mentioned in the archives from the middle of the 16th century. The wall enclosing all Neuilly to the north presents a visible offset on the plan. It probably had a defensive origin. All the plots are elongated except for two small square ones, which could be similar to small forts. The wall was probably to serve as protection.
