History
Villa built in 1907 by the architect Henri Sauvage for Commandant Marcot. Comprising a basement and three levels, it is a rich bourgeois house, marked by the end of the Art Nouveau movement; it is built in dressed stone and brick, with a ceramic decoration provided by Gentil et Bourdet of Boulogne-Billancourt. It now serves as an annex to the Jacques-Monod secondary school, an assignment which has altered the interior decoration but has spared the Sauvage stained glass windows in the stairwell.
