Historique

History
This is a building reworked in three periods. In the 16th century was raised a main dwelling block of three bays. The manor is in reality a farm, a large ensemble isolated in the middle of fields and visible from afar. Two buildings extend on each side the fine barn which is the main interest of this ensemble, the manor or residential building and the adjacent hangar forming the other branch of the U. In the middle of the U-shaped buildings is found the pediluve where horses came to be washed. A first open enclosure ornamented with a fairly modest 18th-century gate defines the farm yard. A second enclosure of a length of 800m encompasses pastures. At the south-western extremity of this enclosure are found two very simple small houses of the gardener. With regard to the manor proper, its oldest parts date from the 16th century, but it was reworked in the 18th century and recently restored by its owners. The interior contains scarcely any elements likely to justify protection under the title of decoration, as it has been fairly well restored. Let us mention however the dining room with its fairly simple 17th-century panelling and the reused funerary slab which covers the sideboard that one sees in this room, the 18th-century staircase with very simple wrought-iron handrail, and the gypsum work which ornaments the alcove bedroom situated above the chapel. The gypsum decoration is due to the Italian artist whose name is engraved on the reverse of the funerary slab which covers the sideboard of the dining room.
