History
The Boulenger factory remains a well-preserved testimony to its authenticity of a very important industrial site for the manufacture of inlaid mosaic tiles, established at Auneuil in 1848 by the brothers Achille and Aimé Boulenger, in the heart of the great ceramic region of the pays de Bray. The museum, the dispatch warehouse which still houses today a kiln, operated by a Japanese potter, and the owner's house formed, with their rich exterior ceramic ornamentation, a veritable public shop window for the business.
