L'actuelle église du XII° s. fut bâtie sur un édifice antérieur , point de départ du pèlerinage à Saint Jacques de Compostelle. En 1570, les habitants restaurent leur église et reconstruisent le bas-côté Sud. Elle fut presque entièrement reconstruite et décorée au XVIII° siècle à l'initiative d'un curé d' Asquins. L'église fût durement touchée par les iconoclastes révolutionnaires. Elle conserve un intéressant mobilier, des peintures murales du XIV° siècle dans une sacristie adjacente et un chœur décoré de façon très homogène.

History
The present church of the 12th century was built on an earlier building, the starting point of pilgrimage to Saint James of Compostela. In 1570, the inhabitants restored their church and rebuilt the south aisle. It was almost entirely rebuilt and decorated in the 18th century at the initiative of a vicar of Asquins. The church was severely damaged by revolutionary iconoclasts. It preserves interesting furnishings, wall paintings of the 14th century in an adjacent sacristy and a choir decorated in a very homogeneous manner.
