Historique
Un château des 12e et 13e siècles est restauré en 1621 après plusieurs attaques, puis tombe en ruines au 18e siècle lorsqu'il est abandonné à des fermiers. Un second château, dit de Layé, construit au 13e siècle, est en partie détruit par un incendie et restauré au début du 19e siècle. History
A château of the 12th and 13th centuries is restored in 1621 after several attacks, then falls into ruins in the 18th century when it is abandoned to farmers. A second château, known as Layé, constructed in the 13th century, is partly destroyed by fire and restored in the early 19th century. The building comprises three ranges of buildings flanked by square towers, united around a courtyard. The ensemble is enclosed on three sides by dry ditches and preceded by a forecourt, bordered by dependencies. Between the two châteaux is found the wine-cellar, an elongated building raised over barrel-vaulted cellars. It houses large presses, one of which bears the date 1716 or 1776.
