Ces logements sont desservis par des escaliers en vis placés dans des tourelles symètriques, communiquant avec des galeries à pan de bois sur la façade postérieure. History
This house is reputed to have belonged to one of the first families of Chalon in the 15th century, the Riboudeau. It comprises two shops on the ground floor, opening onto the street by arcades, and dwellings at the two upper levels. These dwellings are served by spiral staircases placed in symmetrical turrets, communicating with galleries in timber framing on the rear façade. It is covered by a roof sheltering three levels of attic, whence its familiar appellation.
