Abbaye fondée au 12e siècle selon une règle combinant la règle de Saint-Benoît, les principales observances de Cîteaux et certaines prescriptions des Chartreux. L'édification des bâtiments se poursuit jusqu'au 14e siècle (église du 13e siècle). L'abbaye, vendue comme bien national en 1799, a vu disparaître tous les bâtiments des 12e-14e siècles. Seuls subsistent les bâtiments réunis autour de la cour de la Famille, des 17e et 18e siècles.

History
Abbey founded in the 12th century according to a rule combining the rule of Saint-Benoît, the principal observances of Cîteaux and certain prescriptions of the Carthusians. The erection of the buildings continues until the 14th century (church of the 13th century). The abbey, sold as national property in 1799, saw the disappearance of all buildings from the 12th-14th centuries. Only the buildings grouped around the Family courtyard, from the 17th and 18th centuries, remain.
