Cette abbaye fut fondée entre 894 et 918 pour y placer les reliques de Saint-Vivant. L'édifice est entièrement rebâti au 18°s selon le projet de l'architecte Vanot. Vendue à la révolution et fut démolie par le maître des forges et alors laissée à l'abandon.

This abbey was founded between 894 and 918 to house the relics of Saint-Vivant. The building is entirely rebuilt in the 18th century according to the project of the architect Vanot. Sold at the Revolution and was demolished by the master of the forges and then left abandoned.
