History
On buildings constructed in the 16th century leaning partly on part of the wall of the former Gallo-Roman castrum, the Maleteste family built a larger town house in the 17th century. The hotel is leased to Guillaume Morizot, lawyer, who undertakes beautification works including the Regency panelling in the library and the decoration of other rooms. The hotel comprises a main dwelling aligned on the street with a porch giving access to the courtyard and a flight of stairs with ramps on ramps, a wing to the right, with a suite of rooms on the ground floor and, on the first floor, a library with panelling; a wing in return at right angles, with reception rooms and 18th-century doors, a spiral staircase turret from the 16th century.
