L'hôtel est formé de deux corps de bâtiment en L ; la cour est desservie par un portail à couvrement ; à droite, la grille séparant la cour et le jardin date de 1670. Le bâtiment du fond date probablement de la fin du 16e siècle et a été réaménagé au 17e siècle. Le corps de bâtiment de gauche possède une partie du 15e siècle. Buffon habita cet hôtel de 1717 à 1742. A l'intérieur, les décors (2e moitié 18e siècle, début 19e siècle) forment un ensemble homogène : escalier, parquets, boiseries rehaussées de coquilles et rinceaux, plafond à putti.

History
The hotel is formed by two building wings in L-shape; the courtyard is served by a gateway with covering; on the right, the grille separating the courtyard and garden dates from 1670. The back building dates probably from the end of the 16th century and was remodelled in the 17th century. The left wing has a part dating from the 15th century. Buffon inhabited this hotel from 1717 to 1742. Inside, the decorations (second half 18th century, beginning 19th century) form a homogeneous ensemble: staircase, parquet floors, wainscoting enhanced with shells and rinceaux, ceiling with putti.
