History
This fortified house was built in the late 14th century or at the beginning of the following century. The present château was constructed from 1538. The entrance pavilion and north wing were built in the early 17th century, and the west wing and courtyard of honour in the late 17th century. The timber-framed gallery was raised on the west wing around 1770. In the 20th century, a garden was recreated in the classical style, and outbuildings were constructed.
