L'ensemble castral, constitué de deux grandes salles de réception et à usage privé, remonte aux années 1160-1170. Présence d'arcades romanes ornées, témoignage de l'art civil du 12e siècle. Modifications du 15e au début 19e siècle. Le château s'inscrit dans un site défensif avec fossés remontant en partie au 14e siècle, murs d'enceinte et ponts dormants.

History
The castle complex, constituted of two large halls for reception and private use, dates to the years 1160-1170. Presence of decorated Romanesque arcades, testimony to 12th-century civil art.
