Historique
Ce manoir, de plan rectangulaire à un étage carré, a été construit à la fin du 15e siècle. Le cadastre ancien nous montre la division en quatre parcelles avec de nombreux appentis en élévation postérieure, correspondant à des remises ou appentis et les lieux d'aisance. A l'occasion d'un rachat complet la fin du 19e siècle, l'édifice a été fortement remanié. Lui ont été accolés pavillon, oriel en surplomb, galerie et serre, transformant ainsi la demeure seigneuriale en chalet normand. La monographie consacrée à Beuvron, publiée en 1885, cite une maison normande du 16e siècle, nouvellement restaurée et d'une certaine importance, située à l'extrémité sud-ouest du bourg [qui] attire l'attention des touristes parcourant la localité. C'est donc bien la silhouette devenue pittoresque de ce manoir et son implantation au coeur de la cité qui lui a valu d'être remarquée dès la fin du 19e siècle.

History
This manor, of rectangular plan with a single storey, was built at the end of the 15th century. The old cadastre shows us the division into four plots with many lean-tos in the rear elevation, corresponding to sheds or lean-tos and the lavatories. On the occasion of a complete repurchase at the end of the 19th century, the building was heavily remodelled. There were attached to it a pavilion, an overhanging oriel, a gallery and a greenhouse, thus transforming the seigneurial dwelling into a Norman chalet. The monograph devoted to Beuvron, published in 1885, cites a Norman house of the 16th century, newly restored and of some importance, situated at the south-western extremity of the village [which] attracts the attention of tourists travelling through the locality. It is thus indeed the silhouette become picturesque of this manor and its location in the heart of the town which earned it notice from the end of the 19th century.
