History
The church of Bazenville is a religious building of the 13th century representative of the constructions of the Bessin of that period. It has a plan of a single vessel flanked to the west by a bell tower tower adjoined by a pretty porch, and to the east by a choir with rib vault and flat chevet. The bell tower appears as the strong point of the architectural composition of the church. The masonry of the walls is careful; the nave is covered with exposed roof structure rhythmed by powerful tie-beams. Some arrangements took place in the 15th and 16th centuries, notably the addition of the west porch.
