Historique
L'église priorale, dépendant de l'abbaye de Silly-en-Gouffern, date des 12e, 13e, 14e et 15e siècles. Le prieuré servait de lieu de repos aux chanoines prémontrés de l'abbaye. L'église comprend une nef prolongée par un choeur terminé par un chevet plat. De l'ancien édifice roman subsistent dix modillons sculptés et un contrefort plat. Plusieurs percées furent faites à l'époque gothique. Le clocheton d'ardoise qui surmontait la nef a été abattu en 1960. Les murs du choeur portent des traces de peinture murale du 13e siècle. Le cimetière, l'infirmerie et la grange sont du 17e siècle et du troisième quart du 18e siècle. Le pressoir, peut-être du 19e siècle, est en moellons de calcaire.

History
The priory church, dependent on the abbey of Silly-en-Gouffern, dates from the 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th centuries. The priory served as a resting place for the Premonstratensian canons of the abbey. The church comprises a nave extended by a choir terminated by a flat chevet. From the earlier Romanesque building there remain ten sculpted modillions and a flat buttress. Several openings were made in the Gothic period. The slate turret that surmounted the nave was taken down in 1960. The walls of the choir bear traces of 13th-century wall painting. The cemetery, infirmary and barn are from the 17th century and the third quarter of the 18th century. The press-house, possibly from the 19th century, is in rubble stone of limestone.
